Well.. with Halloween approaching… I wonder.. :roll: … Do ya’ll believe in Ghosts? Spooks? Things that go “Bump” in the night? Creepy ghoulish ghosty things? :? … Spirits? Good spirits? Bad spirits? Methylated spirits? :shock:
If so… recollections of any creepy episodes that may have occured in your life (or stories you may have heard?) would be most welcome!

yes i believe in them cos ive seen 1 in our old house…my cousin saw it too and more than once. was a girl with a white dress on and blonde hair and she was on the landing lookin down the stairs as i came out my bedroom and saw her…she turned round and looked at me then disappeared.
no such thing, those who say they have seen a ghost, have a very wild imagination in my opinion
but let people beleive what they wanna beleive in, its hope that somtimes gets us through the emotions of losing somone
thinking, that maybe they are still there, looking down on us in a ghostly image
I need convincing……there’s too many stories for me to think it’s a lot of rubbish, but it would be nice to have conclusive proof.

I think it’s a wee bit silly to simply dismiss the tens of thousands of people who’ve seen ghosts as simply “having a very wild imagination”.
A huge percentage of “Poltergiest” (objects moving) activity happens when a teenager going through puberty is in the room. Thery’re probably the focus of it.
A good theory is that ghosts are “time slips” People from the past moving into the future for a brief period.My Parents and My Sister both have resident Ghosts in They’re Houses :!:
of course there is such thing as ghosts…..ghosts are spirits of people so soulie are u tryin to say that when people die theres just nothing left of them at all??… that their spirit goes aswell??? rubbish!!
and catholics who say jesus lives on in spirit etc…….are they just wasting their time over someone that doesnt exist anymore at all????
theres a massive part of the brain which people do not use…..i believe that people who see or have seen ghosts use a certain part of the brain which makes them become more open minded and see what other people might not see. babies and animals for example are said to be able to see and sense ghosts. because theyre not brainwashed with all the cr@p that theres no such thing as ghosts i think theyre more open minded therefore able to see things other people cant.
and who’s to say u havent seen a ghost already??? the hundreds of people u THINK u pass in the street might not really be with us still!! simply people assume theyre normal living people.
I dont see why ghosts would neccesarily b spirits of the dead.
I prefer the time slip theory. That theory keeps it scientfic and out of the paranormal.There are lots of Thoerys about Ghosts I personally Beleive they are some sort of Spirit that for Some reason or another cant leave a certain place Maybe they just havnt accepted that they are dead ? :?
