Why is it that a lot of people – and for some reason it is mostly males – have to resort to changing names in chat in order to slag others off?
There are those who come in using another name then pop up using their usual name quoting what happened in chat about something they would not know about had they not been lurking.
There are others who come in just to have a go at certain people they think they have a grievance about but are too sad to do it under their own name.
Others come in under many different names repeating the same rubbish that is usually not true.
There are a few who use other names as a joke to amuse the room and always give themselves away which is very funny.
But the sad name changers really do need to get a life because they rarely chat without giving themselves away as they always chat in the same characteristics which are recognisable very quickly to most other chatters.
And why is it that the accusations they throw out could actually be levelled at them?

PS those who have to post phone numbers or personal details using other names are beneath contempt

My sentiments exactly. Same goes for the likes of Coathanger and her stories. A name changing abuser. A troll. But sadly lauded in here because of her choice of subject matter.

I was talking specifically about chat and not the boards as a lot of people post on the boards with a different name.
This thread is about chat and not the boards but I will post a similar thread about the boards if enough people would like it

personally coathanger is a name changer for a laugh so falls into the category of someone who changes for that reason

How wrong your are j in France, in my experience most of the name changers are indeed women who choose to come in and ‘ have a go’ for whatever reason. Yes they are all cowards but this is not exclusive to men as you think.
Of course they have grievences, which is why they dare not come in their own name and whereas you think you can recognise their typing don’t forget they soon learn with observation they can soon pick up on how someone types. As you point out those who post members real names and phone numbers are beneath contempt but in all honesty if one doesn’t reply to them then they loose!
But your right about others who come in different names repeating the same rubbish that is usually not true, because often its not ! But one can never underestimate the imagination of J C chatters which makes it all the more interesting for some.
I do wonder if maybe your taking it all a bit too seriously J in France ?
