The meanest people I know in real life are quite.. well mannered charming even… but dont cross them… truly… it makes me laugh when I see people being hard here… you have no idea truly you dont.

I sort of liken it to road rage…. people who shout and rage at other drivers…. but if that driver stops to confront the situation they drive off at speed… why are people like that here… baffles me… maybe its something lacking in their real life… no idea…maybe you have a theory…. would be interesting to hear it :?

My theory is that many people who are aggressive and nasty in chat rooms and message boards yet meek and mild in real life do it because it’s (relatively) anonymous and it provides an outlet for all the ill feeling that has to come out at some point. If you can’t rage at your husband/wife, boss, figures of authority for fear of jeopardising your reputation or position, then what better way to release all the anger and frustration than to come onto a message board or chatroom…keeps it off the streets I guess.

i like a joke and some banter
only dif is in real life i generally mix with decent people
so no adverse reactions to my lil quips

in reall life though im much better looking than i am on here :wink:
