AN OBJECT,i once kissed my passport after waiting weeks for it to arrive,it was real touch and go,as i was due to fly to belgium that very same afternoon,i had had many frantic phone calls to liverpool passport office,my hotel was booked my flight was booked, and my mates kept ringing me ,”have you got it yet” we were off to a “stag do”,the street where i lived at the time was a long street,in fact it was that long i got my binocs out ,searching for the postman.i was that pent up i was stood on the wall looking for said postie,my wife at the time said get off the wall you idiot, your showing yourself up,anyway he finally appeared with my passport with minutes to spare,i was that happy i kissed my passy,in fact i nearly snogged the postman,so i was just wondering if anybody else has kissed something strange?

On QI ages ago, Stephen Fry said to Dara O’Brien:

The grass in Ireland IS greener than England, do you know why?
Cause your all over here walking on it.

From the life observation thread so Cosy its the Irish walking on English grass that keeps the Irish grass greener

The thought of my washing machine being kaput has got to be the worst thing that could happen so one day when I realised it was actually ok and not on it’s last knockings I got on my knees, kissed it and said I loved it very much.
