I can be very stubborn. At times my stubbornness has cost me.It has caused me to miss the opportunity to accept an apology or miss a different point of view.I was more determined to be right than happy. To find some peace and happiness, sometimes we just need to let it go.

I would prefer to be happy, but compromising on things that are important to me as a person and not being true to myself makes me unhappy. I can adopt a “whatever” attitude (as in “it’s no big deal so let it go” rather than the chav-style whatever) on many things, but now and then there will be something that is too important to me and my sense of identity to let go.

oh gosh.. I would fall out with someone to prove myself right !! This came from being married to a man who was an only child. its only now i can say.. “heck i do not care”.

even now his mother does not let my grandson lose.. I tell her it is so wrong. a simple childs game.. he loses to me ! NOT that im being a sleekit wee fooker. Just teaching him e does NOT win ALL the time !

I used to be stubborn when I was younger just to prove a point….but nowadays I really don’t give a shyte is someone thinks something that isn’t true. I think this place has made me such a way……at the end of the day does it really matter if someone believes somthing that isn’t true? Nope it doesn’t

Surely that depends on “Who” the someone is?
If its a partner/Husband/Wife/Sibling etc it would matter
    to me,
I value my integrity amongst people I care about.
Or are we just speaking of people in Jc?
