I can be very stubborn. At times my stubbornness has cost me.It has caused me to miss the opportunity to accept an apology or miss a different point of view.I was more determined to be right than happy. To find some peace and happiness, sometimes we just need to let it go.
17 September, 2011 at 9:46 pm #478286I would prefer to be happy, but compromising on things that are important to me as a person and not being true to myself makes me unhappy. I can adopt a “whatever” attitude (as in “it’s no big deal so let it go” rather than the chav-style whatever) on many things, but now and then there will be something that is too important to me and my sense of identity to let go.

18 September, 2011 at 9:23 am #478290I used to be stubborn when I was younger just to prove a point….but nowadays I really don’t give a shyte is someone thinks something that isn’t true. I think this place has made me such a way……at the end of the day does it really matter if someone believes somthing that isn’t true? Nope it doesn’t

Surely that depends on “Who” the someone is?
If its a partner/Husband/Wife/Sibling etc it would matter
to me,
I value my integrity amongst people I care about.
Or are we just speaking of people in Jc?18 September, 2011 at 1:01 pm #478292@A.Groanup wrote:
