After years of making tea and perfecting it to my taste i thought ill add this post to bring out a more helpfull post for the younger jc person to follow,

kettle on, 1 tea bag and 2 sugers in cup, poor hot water in cup with about a half inch gap to the cup edge, stir for 1 minute and 30 seconds, tea bag out then milk str8 from fridge, poor till it spills over edge and stir till the excess tea has finally stoped spilling over cup edge, there you go a nice cup tea.

For coffee lovers go costas coffee, simples!

    Tea when I’m at home:

Pour water from tap straight into mug leaving about an inch from the rim…get a pyramid t-bag….shake it….put it in water…….ping in microwave for 2 minutes. Take out….add milk stir till its pretty strong looking…no sugar….then leave for 5 minutes to cool down before drinking….leaving about an inch in the bottom (so Mr Kenty can whinge  )

    Tea when I’m at work:

Boil kettle at least 3 times (not sure why must be an OCD thing)…..shake pyramid t-bag…..put in mug….pour over super duper boiling hot water…stir till strong looking…no sugar…..leave for at least 5 minutes or whenever I’ve remember I made a cuppa…..drink but leave at least an inch at the bottom (so Mr Kenty can roll his eyes when he takes my mug to the sink)

Reading that back has made me reaslise I have serious issues I need to confront (twitch twitch)

Ritual is to your own taste, your choice of tea bag is the important one. English breakfast and twinings everyday win everytime as the superior cuppa for the tea snob :)

Milk in BEFORE the bag is out is just wrong.
