Had a hacker on my Skype account who used the credit to phone Somalia.

Skype then auto recharged my account to the tune of £23.

When I told Skype of the hacking and fraudulent use of my account and asked for a refund they said that unfortunately, they are unable to refund the money!

Now I haven’t lost a fortune but what if this hacker had caused hundreds or even thousands of pounds in auto recharge payments???

So if anyone uses auto recharge on Skype, you best delete your payment details as it seems this “reputable” company doesn’t give a toss!

    Well, never mind.

A lot of hacking going on at the moment……………may not be exciting posts but it’s always good to be reminded that they’re out there ready to take what’s not theirs.

My youngest had my debit card registered with Sony for his playstation …. my card has been used fraudulently since the system was hacked into.

What gets me with all these “super hackers” is…they must be so clever to manage to hack into big corporations like Sony, why don’t they put their skills to legal use and make an honest living.

My email was hacked, and a message was sent to all my friends telling them I was in Madrid and had been robbed. I needed £1,800 to pay my hotel bill and get a flight home! Details of how to pay the money were included…..I know it sounds funny but the email was very convincing. Anyway luckily none of my friends fell for it..

I tried to delete it but it would not allow me to also they had adjusted the forwarding settings on the email so anything sent to me was forwarded to another account .. bit scary! Its all sorted now, but was a pain at the time.

It was interesting enough for you to take the time to read and comment upon though, wasn’t it?

    Not really.
You’ve completely under-estimated the value of pedantic and pointless mischief making.

Please try not to do it again.

You mean you have egg on your face as I’ve shown you up?

Please do try to keep up – I know it’s difficult for a lame duck like yourself. :D
