I dont mind what i have to pay for something , if it is something that i want , as long as i get value for money. Today, my daughter and i were out shopping and called into a Shelbourne restaurant . We had a cup each of peppermint tea and a cream bun each. ie, 2 cups of 2 and 2 cream buns.
they charged me £8,50,
An absolute disgrace.
Actually Eve… I was ripped off on Sunday…I was travelling to Ludlow with a friend and we stopped at a little chef, we each had a Cafetiere of Coffee and a toasted teacake…. the bill…£11.30…ridiculous, the price sounds so unbelievable I have posted the link to the menu.. I still cannot believe I paid it… GRRRRRRRR
