Thank You Ladies. I think thats me in for the Night. People are having parties, I have had a few invites, Im now in my jammies and would need to merely step out of them and into trousers, after a quick application of lippy,deoderant and a party Atmosphere.
when I was wee, I could Not wait to Grow up, As New Year seemed the Epitome of Enjoyment..One singer ONE song was the only command..I learned Many a song from new year Perties. As id Hide behind my grannies chair, with my wee glass of Raspberry cordial..I was as quite as a mouse.Almost scared to breath,id sit there,eyes pleading at Uncles En- route to the loo that spotted me :) Often id be caught !! and banished upstairs with the rest of my cousins,sitting in misery round a solitary botttle of juice to share. As the youngest, i would play guess the floater. I never quite felt “part”. Found out years Later My mother was adopted so they were no more “cousins” than a flea in the air :) I would ALWAYs get back downstairs again :) To my secret spot,where i bothered not a soul, just Listened to some damm fine music.The best singer being My ain daddy.
Im now in a secret spot in my own wee hoose. No one to answer too, well apart from whinging at my son a wee while ago for eating an entire pot of home made soup :)
I made sure my children, as kids NEVER felt left out .
