is there one charity you give more too than another one? me, i will always give to kids charities collections, and multiple sclerosis as 2 members of my family have that what bout u?
I do lots of charity work for Marie Curie Cancer Care, including street collections, coordinating collection boxes in local businesses, etc,
My brother recently ran the great north run for their cause last month too.It is a charity I am passionate about after the care they gave my Dad in their hospice and the dedication the marie curie nurses gave my Gran at home in their final days last year.
I also ran the race for life for Cancer Research last year!
I do suppor breast cancer research its a bit personal for me but always give money to childrens charitys try to do my bit
Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation for me.
I used to volunteer at our local hospice and now I support them when they have events on.

The Royal Marsden in London,, who took me on and tried to get a result.. and Rachel house a hosice for terminally ill kids for respite care for parents.

who knows.. ! i find the “picked on” on here tend to be the main instigators. were all old enough and ugly enough to NOT need a saint, with or without the Dragon !
It hard to decide what charity to give to but it has to be kids charitys and breast cancer these are two that are close to the chefs heart. mum lost the battle to cancer and kids dont ask to be born they always seem to get get the short straw. Once a month i make some goodies for the staff of a local hospice. Im gratefull that im healthy :)
My mother in law died a really painful death from cancer over 26 yrs ago now. We have supported cancer charities ever since. I also set up a direct debit donation for a childrens charity about 2 yrs ago now. I prefer it that way as you know you are regularly giving. Otherwise you may not bump into the street collector for ages and ages and when you do you realise you havn’t given for a while.
We also raise funds for the Kent Air Ambulance by selling our carrier bags to the public for 5p should they need one. Since last year we have raised over £600 just solely through these sales. Plus hundreds more through their collection box.
I will not support Animal chairities though. Not somthing that appeals to me.i just dont do charity
i dont really trust any of them
there are too many people getting a slice before it gets to where its needetake the guide dogs for the blind for instance
when some one puts money in a box for them they honestly belive it will fund a guide dog for some poor person
if only that was the case
the gdba have millions in the bank so much so that they give there staff subsidised mortgages with the funds
the truth is they have more money than they need for the dogs
