I was sad to hear that the great jazz player Johnny Dankworth died yesterday, I had the priviledge of meeting him a couple of times over the years at the stables in wavendon, always came across as a very gentle man and was married to Cleo Laine for an amazing 52 years!!!

Thats sad :( 82 isn’t old these days either. He was a brilliant man… not that keen on his style of jazz, but you have to take your hat off to his composing ability.
