How will you be making this day even more special for your loved one?

I know many people say its a day when you are ripped off on card prices and choccies etc (retailers dream  ), and that we should show our love all year round everyday. But the sad fact is most of us don’t.
What is wrong with a day to celebrate and remind us of what we have? Loads of men especially, will make an effort on this day when they normally may not. So whats wrong with that? Does it mean if he or she doesn’t do what they do on Valentines Day that they love you any less? Of course not.
As I’m a married bag of 27 years I obviously don’t get any Valentines cards from secret admirers  . The original reason for Valentines Day

omg! Mr Kent’s life wouldn’t be worth living if he forgot ANY of my pressies

Men are boring to buy for?

Well, that’s because Valentines Gifts are mainly directed at women! What do half the men say when receiving their gift? “Oh, thankyou for my spanner shaped novelty chocolate bar, which you will probably eat later.”
You don’t need a day as such to tell your significant other how much you love them, but it’s nice! I do think it has become too commercialised though, and like you mentioned Kent, the fun is, actually sending cards anonymously! Not that I would send anonymous rude cards, to unsuspecting prudes..

…..and he’s 100% absolutely right!!! Valentine’s Day is a total commercial ripoff solely designed to make women feel good about themselves and feel wanted.

Men are in essence blackmailed into splurging out on stupid gifts at inflated prices with the threat of “You don’t really love me any more” if they choose to be frugal. This is of course before the ‘refusal to copulate’ card is played.

So, in their untiring search for ever more fornication, men are ripped off vast amounts of hard-earned cash and all in the name of St Valentine.

Is seriously concerned that PB may be Mr Velvet in disguise

He sounds like a damned fine chap to me. Certainly has the right approach to love & life.

Miserable tight gits the lot of you….. I’m not suggesting you lavish your women with expensive gifts….. sometimes its the small things that mean so much more…

( and please no small jokes i was not referring to the size of anyones dongler)
