the general election will be on 6th May folks… who will you be voting for? I am trying to decide whether to draw a cartoon on my ballot paper or whether to actually vote for one of the shower of shyte who are standing for government this year.

24 January, 2010 at 7:33 pm #429407This is last week’s news minim – a “Government source” leaked May as the proposed date of the forthcoming election several days ago and the press has been full of it since.
Mind you the press is always full of it, eh?
If you can’t choose between one set of rogues and another set – vote for your local Monster Raving Looney candidate. At least you KNOW that their policies make no sense at all and that they’ll NEVER carry them out.
Saves all that disappointment later on.

25 January, 2010 at 8:52 pm #429411They’re all as bad…… but if you don’t vote you can’t complain
If you pay your taxes you have every right to complain……….regardless
25 January, 2010 at 9:28 pm #429412Anyone who refuses to vote.. has no right to complain later.
As a woman I feel a strong sense of responsibilty because many women died to allow women the vote in this country. I will not let their lives go to waste.
As for you men…. you must do what your consciences dictate.
25 January, 2010 at 10:02 pm #429413Of course they have the right to complain.
25 January, 2010 at 10:05 pm #429414No
They don’t.. if they don’t vote, don’t complain.
If you vote and the party you vote for doesn’t get in, then complain if you must, but if you cannot be bothered to go to a polling booth and put an X in a box, then don’t flipping complain if you don’t like the party politics of the party that gets in.
One person one vote.
We all have a choice. -
