However much a fanatical group they may be, why is this kind of thing given the time of day!!!
I love their quote about Nelsons Column, it would be demolished as under Sharia Law statues and idols are prohibited, but!! it’d be replaced by Islamic decorations, I think that falls in to hypocrisy category
A home office spokesman states that everyone has the right to express their views, done sensibly and without violence or causing / inciting racial hatred, this march/rally or whatever they want to call it, is going to do just that.
In all of it I did like the quote of the simple solution being to let these fanatics move to a country that already practices sharia law, ie., back to where they came from!! but then they dont have a welfare state for the morons to live off there do they
18 October, 2009 at 11:37 am #419619They are extremists… …… but actually 40 lashes for druken disorderly behavior, and stoning for adulterers, the latter would go down quite well with a fair few people I expect!
Just kidding by the way!
All extremists should be put up against a wall and shot! :D
18 October, 2009 at 11:50 am #419620cas last year in luton our soldiers where abused by islamics at a march, the councils allowed them to have , the same councils , same town, refused a march to mark st georges day a few weeks later
18 October, 2009 at 11:53 am #419621That caused a stink when it happened tictax, I remember. I wonder what the criteria are for allowing demonstrations these days?
By the way, I uphold the right to protest in public… demonstrations are part of our democratic society, so its ironic that islamic extremists want to use such a well known democratic process to air their views, particularly as they are demonstratiing against our democracy!
In fact its not just ironic, its downright hilarious.

Falls into the same league as their placing islamic icons at nelsons column when its pulled down,,,,,,,,hypocrisy

I know tictax, I saw it on the news and thought how disgraceful it was. If they don’t like it here, or the laws of this country, then why don’t they just pack up and go back to their own country, where they can practice sharia law and anything else they want to do
The local council here said that people were not! allowed to fly the St Georges flag. It had the opposite effect, i’d never seen so many St Georges Day flags flying and thought good!!!! Why is it that WE! have to think about their feelings all the time, what about OUR!! feelings.
18 October, 2009 at 12:02 pm #419624The thing is…. this is supposed to be a free country. That means that everyone has the right to free speech, the right to protest and demostrate and the right to follow their own religions. That is why i want to know what the rules for having a peaceful demonstration are. Because something in those rules is biased.

Thing is, it is your right to protest or demonstrate something which you feel strongly enough about, you are by law, expected to do so peaceably and without causing or inciting violence or racial hatred. By it’s very nature, this protest is already racially fired, from their point of view and it shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
Personally i’ll keep an eye on it, I don’t live so far from Trafalgar Sq and I might even find myself there. If they’re entitled to a voice, so am I  :-

I live in Luton… it is a melting pot about to boil over.
As for them going back to their own places to practise… most of the asian community in Luton still have strong links with their respective home nations and many still travel back and forth on their british passports bringin back relatives who require nhs treatment etc…. I know several who openly admit to doing this18 October, 2009 at 8:10 pm #419627Bet there’s a few who wish the Government had listened to Enoch Powell.
Give em all £1000.00 each & send them back from whence they came!
My theory ….. Round em up stick em in a big field & bomb the barstewards see how they like it !!!
Oh if only it was that simple eh?
