I am supposed to be going to Majorca in 4 weeks, and with the current bombings I admit it has made me feel a little uneasy…
I have 2 schools of thought going on in my head…
1) Go and say ballz to it as there is as much likelyhood of me being caught up in that as there is in going into central london and being caught up in something and in cancelling then the terrorist is winning
or..
2) Cancel and go somewhere less volatile?
What would you do?
I am swinging more the the first thought although thats not to say am not certainly concerned about it all
Unless the official guidance is to stay away from an area then I’m with the first thought. Hotspots flare up from time to time, but as we see from time to time some of the most peaceful places can suddenly become a troublespot.
As long as you don’t knowingly put yourself in danger and take all sensible precautions then go and enjoy yourself.
