did gigsy deserve to win the player of the year award ????? i personally think there was sentiment involved , hes never won it in his glittering carear , and deserved the recognition , but isnt there a seperate award for contibution to football or sumet , or maybe obe ( he,ll get that as well i think a true legend in my eyes

On this season’s form he doesn’t deserve it all. How many league games has he started….12 ?
On the other hand is the Paul Newman factor. Having been nominated so many times I don’t think anyone could really begrudge Giggs winning it at last.
He certainly deserves it more than David Ginola ever did.ginola yer i remember , how over rated was he like ???
