Well people its gotta be time for sven to fúck off back to sweeden, i know he has got us by the balls with this contract he is on but they must be some clause in it where it states that if we get beat by a bunch of 3 legged donkeys(n/irland)then he must go.
so who is next is the question thats been on our lips for some time now. I as a boro fan dont think maclaren is up to the job , for me it would be Sam Alardice from bolton , he has done very well with very little money to spend.

what a wa’nker10 September, 2005 at 8:18 pm #137131There is only one man I think who could come in and make an impact in the short space of time he would have between now and the world cup but the guy has a few problems and might not want to do it at the moment.
He’s out of work at the moment and might just prefer a job that isn’t 24/7 like most managerial posts.Martin Oneil
There would be no harm in asking :D
I think hew could motivate the over paid stars and knock into touch a few over inflated ego’s a few of them have.

I dont hink he has the balls to take on the england job and im not sure if he is lookin for work after the way he quit celtic as u said.
i think we need someone who is english for sure and big sam is earning more respect in the game year by year , another that springs to mind is harry redknapp.
peace
10 September, 2005 at 8:30 pm #137134Yeah….he has done well Allardice…..i would just like to see him manage at a higher level.
He has done great with the resources he has but I wouldn’t want to watch the way Bolton play every week.
If he went somewhere that gave him a few bob to spend it would be interesting to see if his team played differently and was still succesful.10 September, 2005 at 8:38 pm #137135yeah i hear what ur sayin about the money but i also think sam and harry are gr8 man motivators aswell far far better than sven thats why i think they would do very well if they were given some of the so called best midfeilders and defendersin the world an rooney an owen im sure as shít is brown they would have got us something out of the last 2 big comps we have been in.
we are fúcked with sven and have no way out as i can see it.
10 September, 2005 at 8:45 pm #137136Agreed but we need to think long and hard about this one.We have some real talent as you said,so we need the right man to get the best out of them.
10 September, 2005 at 9:44 pm #137137If he spent less time on what was said about him with faria. He might be able to do the job of taking us to the world cup, but with the publicity of every action he takes, viewed by millions, give him some credit, he has took us further than any other manager in the last 49 yrs, England still are a good team, and have faith. We will overcome every obsticle, trust your Manager, folllow him till death, HAVE FAITH.

Youre right mate and im not just saying it as a Celtic fan. O Neill is exactly what England need. They would know exactly what they were doing under O Neill, and I would tip England to get to the World Cup Final next summer if he took over.
I dont trust foreign coaches in charge of foreign national teams. Voghts made a pigs ar.se of it as Scotland coach, and look at happened since. The British teams need passion, spirit and gnashing of the teeth. Can a foreigner instill that?No he cant. Eriksson looked helpless and clueless how to get England back into the game the other night. He aint Englands answer. -
