It’s been all over the news about Jonathan Ross and Russel Brand. The pair left a rude and very public message on Andrew Sachs answer phone about his granddaughter that was not only personal but very offensive.
The BBC have suspended the pair of idiots, dispite Sachs recieving an apology from Ross but not Brand.
Sack them both
I was listening to Brand’s show when all this took place and it’s been blown out of all proportion. All he said was he’d had great sex with Sachs grand daughter and she loved it and its was consensaul on both parts.
As far as i’m aware he only phoned Sachs after he failed to turn up on the show. Then after the phone call Brand made, Rossy told him to phone back and apologise.
I think there were 8 complaints at first then it got in the papers and all of a sudden 10,000 people find it offensive.
All i can say is with out them two Radio 2 hasn’t got a station.
I think this has all been blown up so we forget about the country going bankrupt.It’s strange but i thought sex was a private thing not something you had to shout from the rooftops and even if it was then at least both partners should do the shouting
Sachs was upset after Brand and Ross left a series of lewd messages on his voicemail as part of a pre-recorded show, taped on 16 October.
The pair made obscene comments about the actor’s 23-year-old granddaughter Georgina Baillie during four separate phone calls.
During the calls, Ross swore and said Brand had slept with Sachs’ granddaughter.
Earlier, she told the paper: “What’s funny about humiliating a lovely old man who has never harmed anyone in his life?”

Brand has resigned.. Wonder if he writes how he speaks?
Anyone who listens to Russel Brand knows what he’s like and the BBC employed him because of what he’s like, Now all of a sudden they are trying to distance themselves from him.
If him or Ross are worth the money they get that’s another matter.
The amount of abuse Brand has dished out to Noel Gallager yet i dont hear anyone complaining about that.
The BBC have just turned into a spineless bunch of wooly liberals who run at the first sign of trouble.
As for Gordon Brown poking his nose in i though he would have more important things to worry about :roll:Noel Gallagher likes a bit of gobiness himself and as far as i know isnt pushing 80 and wasnt left lewd messages about his grandaughter. They’re only sorry cause of the money they’ll lose
Well I had to have a listen on youtube to see what all the fuss was about, and I thought it was hilarious, laughed me head off (not really, it’s still there). Especially when they decided to sing him a song, funny as fk. Andrew Sachs has said when asked about it, that he doesn’t want to see them suspended as they are performers like him and they have just been a bit silly. He also went on to say that they have both wrote letters of apology and sent flowers and he said that was good enough for him. The only one who is benefiting from all this is the said grandaughter ‘Georgina Baillie’, all the publicity she is getting must be good for her burlesque show.
All a load of nonsense and codswallop ( i love that word)

Perhaps she should look at her own life- I’d say being in a band which uses Nazi imagery, naked models dressed in German world war 2 style uniforms, makes a play on words on the “Blood and Honour” organisation etc- I’d say thats pretty humiliating for her Jewish grandfather, wouldnt you.
Does she scream from the rooftops that she’s his grabdaughter ? Did those two ?
