Men please answer too
I was 31, 35 and 37
They are now 14, 16 and 19
(jeeze that gives my age away)fell at 19, had him at 20, then the next at 23, although took longer to concieve, but lookin back 3 years was a good age gap really. they are nearly 12 and 15 now.
Fell at 19 had them at 20, had Linky at 27. Felt more able to cope at 27
I never ever wanted children and due to an earlier illness there was a possibility I would be infertile
Three years into my marriage I decided to have tests
The first test was a sample bottle for my husband which I never had to return
So at 30 I discovered I was pregnant
My mother and I had a business which meant living together in a massive house.
I worked up to the morning I went in to be induced
I then had two weeks off before I returned full time
My mother and I shared bringing my beautiful girl up for the 1st two years.
Then my husband and I bought a home for ourselvesMy 2nd and 3rd children were accidents
In my mind my marriage was over but guilt and a persistant husband made me stay
I put in for a seperation when my youngest was 18 months old
I’ve brought them up alone since then
and they are all a credit to me (or should that be a credit to them)I was a teen mum, I was still at school, had my son when I was 15, luckily I had people round to support me but it was a struggle and hard watching my friends going out clubbing and enjoying themselves and doing things that teenagers do. On the upside my son is now also my best friend and we have been through so much together.
So yes I was stupid having him so young, but at the same time I would’t change a bloody thing. :)I was a bit late off the blocks. I think that might of had something to do with the fact I was a childrens nanny for 12 years. Something appealing about handing them back at 6pm & having a social life!! :wink:
I had my first when I was 31 & my second at 34. I was classed as a “geriatric mum”
A lot of my friends kids have now left school & are making their way in life, & my kids are still at junior school. Some of my friends are “grannies”. I know grandkids are said to be one of lifes biggest blessings but at 41 I am so not ready for that stage. [-(I didnt have em ya understand but 19..21..23..and 2 at 29
i found out i was pregnant the day before i had to start fertility treatment.i was 36 at the time had been trying for over 2 years. the hospital told me to come in . in 8 wks and the would do a scan. imagine my suprize when they discovered identical twins. good job i was lying down at the time.my girls stopped growing at 30 wks and where born at 38weeks2lb 10oz and 3lb 8 oz. now five and a half years later at school the have sprouted like mushrooms. i’m glad i was an older mum . i’d have freaked out if i’d been younger.you never know true love till you hold your new baby
The triplets are due soon either that or i’m gonna burst
When I had my clan I was aged 17, 19, 23, 24, 28 and 34!
They are now aged 20, 18, 15, 14, 10 and 3!!
