I use a LAN connection 24/7 with Mcaffee firewall, AVG antivirus, and a freebie of Regscrub, yet I still get these annoying adverts telling me that my computer is corrupted by some stupid advert, I usually ignore them, but how many fresh comp users will accept them as true just to download without their consent, The protection is the knowledge you hold and this is the best site that anybody can understand in plain English, Thanx 2 all on site. espescially Owen. you have taught me loads, keep up the good work. Not forgetting BlondeBlue, your advice has kept me out of some serious scrapes Thanx, xxx
Turn off your messenger service (not MSN). Those messages that your receiving are called messenger spam.
You can turn off the mesenger service using GRC’s shoot the messenger utility which is available here http://www.grc.com/stm/shootthemessenger.htm
some spam i can deal with but for new comp users i would advise this site their are a lot of helpful people out there that could do with a little bit of web education, thanx superanubis.

make an effort to help people whenever I can.No worries waring, you`re welcome. 8)
If it wasn`t for Owen I wouldn`t be able to keep my puter sorted the way I can now and anubis has helped me out b4 too so it`s just a case of helping each other out the best we can 8) :D
