I was on a coach recently and was falling asleep leaning against the window with my jacket over my head,i felt a fart coming on and hey presto i dropped a stocking feeter(a silent fart for those of you who don’t have my grasp on the english language),woooohoooo did it stink  ,so to cover my guilt i lifted my jacket off my head and gave the bloke next to me a look that said”ffs i’d have been proud of that one”,quickly covered my head back up and got on with my nap :D

Anyone else used any silly but effective ways of deflecting guilt?

I giggled all my way through reading that, as i CANT hide my guilt when i fart. I give it away by going bright red and laughing too loud.. and beleive me i have had my share of stocking feeters too :)

Something an elderly taxi driver said to me this morning on my way home from work:

‘The sh*ggers’ll be oot getting their heads doon the water’ or something similar. I didn’t ask him to repeat it for some reason.

It’s fair to say that I was just a bit lost for words but he kept looking at me, expecting to say something. I just said ‘Aye, it’s a cold morning’

I have never heard that before
