I plunge into the river of life ,
to sample the taste of your very existenceDrinking from natures forbidden chalice,
The ultimate taboo, the unspeakable sinYour genetic code is mixed with mine ,
In an act of all consuming passionMetallic yet saline from the mix with perspiration ,
No alchemist could ever create such a potent mix of lustLike satanic leeches we feed on each others lifeforce,
Seeking out the secret of immortal loveThe dream is sealed and the bond is forged ,
Together for eternity in a demonic union of souls1 member liked this post.

21 July, 2017 at 11:48 am #1061741well, they may be in prison if they’ve committed something so indescribably forbidden.
There is a famous poem about self-abuse, a gross act which only the most depraved amongst us commit, by the inappropriately named American poet James Dickey, but as I’ve become short-sighted I can’t find it.
He also wrote a very explicit poem called The Sheep Child about something which cannot be mentioned in the company of staid adults such as those who populate jc. Dickey received several prizes for this poem, and he also became poet-in-residence at a state university.
21 July, 2017 at 12:23 pm #1061746Not sure about this thread, what now is being discussed, applying the word “passion,” however is it always the practice of some people at JC to target others and continually make them feel unwelcomed…is it really worth it with people here who have continued passion to keep hurting others and challenge for entertainment. ………….

It’s interesting how it caused no reaction, at all, 12 years ago. That is the beauty of poetry though surely, each of us interpret words differently. I saw no “sinister” or even “macabre” voice behind the words and my immediate thoughts were perhaps a gay love affair when being gay was illegal and gay penetrative sex was considered (and still is in places) as the ultimate sin.
