Has anyone seen one of these phones?
I dont mean on TV or in a shop window, but actually picked one up and spent some time playing around with it.I did…. yesterday
Now I am not easily impressed by new technology and certainly dont go out of my way to invest in the latest gadgets (I was probably the last person on the planet to buy a mobile phone).
But believe me…. that iPhone is one COOL piece of kit!!
We did have a look at them a while back.
The main problem we found was the “touch screen”, after 5 mins the screen needs a clean.
We also found after a while, parts of the “touch screen” stopped working. At times the phone seemed “under power” and slow to use.
Over all, they are ok for someone who replaces there phone once a year and looks after it, but for “day to day” totally impractical.
My mate has one but i didnt have a nose on it…but my other friend has a touch screen phone, very nice but as already said it gets all greasy coz of fingerprints. Plus its very sensitive…if you touch a button and nothing happens you do it again then all of a sudden a lod of pages come up coz you touched it twice…i will stick to comps and button phones lol
