Usually you cant beat the original but are there any cover versions you think are superior to the original or just plain awful

This bird is unsigned but i think she does great covers of Neyo’s “Because of you” and Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly”
Of course I can’t leave out my main man..
Ive not got any links but I love Yazoo Only You and the flying pickets version too, they were a real breath of fresh air, loved them. Did they do anything else?
