Trump celebrated his birthday – sorry, America’s birthday – yesterday with a major military parade, and talking about “your favourite President – me”.
He boasted of how in 1775, the new American army had “manned the air, rammed the ramparts, taken over the airports” – in a display of ignorance which quickly made him the world’s laughing stock (again).
