Great stuff from young Andy beating world number 3 Djokovic 7-6 7-6 in the final of the Cincinati Masters Series. Now moves up to number 6 in the world rankings. 8)
Tough ask, even on his favourite hardcourt surface after playing for 4 hrs in the last round, but if he’s gonna beat Nadal this is his best surface to do it on.
If Murray grabs the 1st set, and it dosent go to 5 sets then I think he could win.
My personal opinion is that Murray isn’t strong enough or good enough to beat Nadal yet (I hope that statement gets stuffed down my throat come Saturday)… but he has done a tremendous job getting this far and is getting better literally by the day. He will be the official world no. 4 after the tournament… great success.
