Alexander Solzhenitsyn

The world famous writer and historian had not been seen in public for months. He died from the aftermath of a stroke, according to unconfirmed information.

Solzhenitsyn’s main work was the Gulag Archipelago in 1973, which described the years of Stalinist terror using thousands of details and individual cases.

The 1970 Nobel winner has reportedly been seriously ill for months.

his book gulag archpelago was about not only his own experiences in soviet forced labour concentration camps but also traces steps of other people’s story;s . a book i havent read , but like many have read excerpts and write ups about, it seems to me as tho Alexander tried to open peoples eyes into what was going on.. but still, even if you dont know his works one of history’s great characters who left their mark.
