Had an interesting chat with a couple of friends last night, dont ask me how the topic came up! but it turns out that both of them have had weird experiences with the other side :shock:
My one friend said shes seen at least 4 dead relatives over the years, as well as 2 family pets. She saw one while she looked in the mirror, her mum and sister floated past :shock: she saw one in a bright light, one while she was in bed peeping around the door, and the family dog was curled up beside her.
My other friend said shes had 2 seperate incidents. Shes never actually seen anything, but while she was lying awake in bed, she clearly heard someone whisper her name in her ear, but there was no one else in the room. Another time, she felt someone blow her hair on her face, but there was no draft and no one in the room.
I find this all a bit creepy.
Have any of you seen dead relatives?
I saw my late Gran in Asda last week.

Freak show!! :lol:not exactly a relative but i did see elvis working at the deli counter in tescos and lord lucan sweeping up, does that count? :wink:
actually pebbles in all seriousness, i can honestly say i have never actually seen a dead relative but have ‘sensed’ them and actually heard me mum say me name a couple of times.
one time i was going to meet a brother i had never met (he was 63) long story, but I had struggled to get the money together to go to manchester on the wednesday , the night before a freind of mine asked me to go to bingo with her to which i said i dont have the money so she said look i’ll pay for you, you have always helped me in the past so i went.
so we sat there and on the seat opposite (although i still cant say i actually saw her) it was really wierd cos i sort of saw me mum she was wearing a green dress and I heard her laugh loud and clear as anything, its hard to explain , i dont know if it was a ‘sensing’ of seeing her or if i actually did see her , i know confusin ay. anway to cut a long story short after the interval i won £700 which of course i split wiv me mate and just as i was going out i again felt me mum there and i actually smelt her perfume that night when i got home, not a ‘today’ perfume it was a very heavy cote lamont she used to use…. so yes is the answer pebbles i do beleive some see dead relatives.
heres another thing….i knew someone who died last year, a few days before she died as she lay ill in hospital, she told someone that she could see a black figure standing at the foot of her bed. I’ve been reading about other people’s experiences of this on the net, and it seems it was probably the angel of death who apparantly appears when you are close to dying to take you to the other side :shock:

sadly i have to say i really don’t believe it all, but when my dad died 6yrs numerous times after it id here my lass laffin n gigglin… when i went to c what she was up to, she’d say grandad was tickling her..!! i never made a big deal o it, it soon pass’d i put it down to her bein so young and missin my dad as he was such abig part of her life… I asked my mum this question and she said, that my great gran used to say she saw dead people, and my aunt when she went to Notredame cathedral swore blind when she was sittin prayin, bubble like shapes came beofre her it was my uncle, aunt and great grandparents… i say to much vino @ lunchtime…. myself never experienced.

Mary you just reminded me of my youngest, my mum came to live with us for eighteen months, my youngest lass was then 2, they were absolutely inseperable whereever you saw mum you saw my youngest!!
anyway mum moved away (another story not for here) and i dint see her again for another 7 years unfortunately in the hospital when she was dying. the strangest thing tho Mary, around 15 minutes before the phone rang my youngest came and woke me up and said ‘ mum grandma is dying you have to go see her now!!’ Well i thought she had been having a dream and was in the process of putting her back to bed when the phone rang, it was my sister to tell me i needed to get to the birmingham hospital pdq cos mum wouldnt last much longer!! :shock:
in the years since mum has been gone my youngest has several times said to me that her grandma has been to see her and was around and that she had actually seen her once, i said to her when was that, and my youngest said , do you remember when i had that allergic reaction to the pills the doc gave me a couple of years ago, i said i did, she said well grandma sat all night by my bed and held my hand!!! :shock: :shock:
I see people that died for all the wrong reasons… stage right Stynes >>>>
