A friend had to stay in hospital overnight and texted me asking to look after her dogs.
I thought that meant going round, feeding them and letting them out occasionally which, to be honest, is all she seems to do.Noooooooo
I had to bring them round here for the night.
After an evening of having a GSD and a Boxer hyper in my living room, sniffing each others bums, belching, panting, following me everytime I moved, casting their hairs over my newly vacuumed carpet and generally irritaing the hell out of me, I’d had enough.
Woke up this morning in a brilliant mood, felt my way downstairs and arghhhhhhhhh
dogs in my house!!!!
Fed and watered them and sat on my back doorstep in my jim jams while they weed up my bushes and pood all over my grass. Then the GSD found a gap in the hedge and decided to go home.
The moral of this story is..
IF YOU ARE EVER EVER EVER TEMPTED TO GET A DOG, BORROW A COUPLE FIRSTNow you know why I am in a foul mood

I thought all she wanted me to do was go round, let em out and feed em so I said yes.
The next thing she said was
*and can you put one in your kitchen and one in your living room overnight ‘cos otherwise they wont settle*
ffsAll my windows and doors are wide open

19 July, 2008 at 10:11 am #355387Has my dislike of all things dog spread round the canine world ?
Ive just chased an ugly mutt out of my garden just as it was poising
and aforementioned dog owner and former friend is calling round in a minute to thank me
I shall hand her a cappuccino and a carrier bag
