    Today we are making Carmel Pudding

    I love this recipe, my only advice is to avoid lumpy pudding.

    It has a good light flavor and is extremely easy to whip up.

    It takes a little time to make, but I followed the instructions and it come together very well.

    INGREDIENTS

    * 380 ml milk
    * 3/4 eggs
    * 90 g packed brown sugar
    * 25 g sugar
    * 25 g all-purpose flour
    * 3 ml vanilla extract
    * 8 g butter or margarine

    Makes 4 servings

    DIRECTIONS

    In a large saucepan, scald milk. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, beat eggs until creamy.

    Add sugars, flour and 1-1/2 cups of the scaled milk;

    slowly pour into saucepan with remaining milk.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until pudding thickens, about 15-20 minutes.

    Remove from the heat; add vanilla and butter. Stir well. Continue to stir pudding every 10 minutes until cooled.

    Carmel’s lovely, and she deserves all the pudding she can get.

    After all that’s where the proof of the eating is.

    In the pudding I mean, not Carmel of course.

    You need a proper home cooked meal if you think that tastes good!

    well yeah some steak some kidney 60z flour 3 oz suet and all that but tin is just easier :lol:

    If your homemade tastes as vile as that tinned stuff then it’s cooking lessons you need :)

    Im gutted, I hate caramel.
