Talking about paul ince being the first black “english” manager in the premier league, he said that because 25% of players are black, then managers with black skin should reflect that in manager roles.
Of course, on the flip side, if 75% of players are white, and 98% of managers are white, then we need more white players…
Brendon also said that Paul being a black premier league manager is good for the black community.
Not good for the white community?
My question isn’t about what colour players or managers should be.
26 June, 2008 at 6:43 pm #350693ALL football managers should be black and preferably African. ALL players should be yellow and preferably Korean. Anybody not fitting this profile is clearly unfit to play football.
It therefore follows that all footballers (players and supporters) are demented Coronation Street watchers.
BTW – the above is equally as sensible as Emma’s poll question.

26 June, 2008 at 10:54 pm #350699who is brendon batson?
I actually don’t disagree with Miss Lush- a good manager is a good manager irrespective of colour
What would be interesting to know is what happens to the 25% of footballers who arent white then they retire? What stops them from going into coaching? Lack of desire? Lack of support? Lack of belief etc?

Thankyou slayer. Brendon Batson is a former black footballer who now works for the FA in a consultancy role, providing a key link between the ‘Football for All’ Division and coaching within The FA’s Football Development Division.
As listed on the FA’s website, Some of Brendon’s key roles include:
* Acting as an ambassador for The FA’s work to increase ethnic minority involvement in coaching
* Providing an overview of and co-ordination of The FA’s work in coach education in relation to ethnic minorities
* Developing an action plan to increase the number of ethnic minorities at all levels in coaching
* Ensuring the FAs mentoring scheme is appropriate for ethnic minorities. Is part of his job to try and get football clubs to not hire white people as their manager?
Would the FA allow a white employee to go on tv and say clubs should hire more white players?
Why does the media allow people like Brendon to spew this anti-white racism?
