Where’s that friggin hamster I don’t know where its gone,
It may have gone a wandering but its been gone for far too long,
I pulled out all the furniture, I put water out and food,
I bought it such a lovely cage I think its very rude.
Jokes aside I’m worried for it is so very small, already pulled the bookcase out that was wedged up against the wall,
Oh little hammy darling I hope that you’re ok, I’m hoping you’ll come back to us within the next day.
I’m not sure why you bu**ered off and not meaning to be funny, but I really hope my dear my love you aren’t in my doggies tummy.

18 June, 2017 at 8:08 pm #1054368I also kept Russian Dwarf hamsters, the very small ones and one in particular liked to perch on my shoulder. Sadly he fell off and i had to take him to the vet but he had a broken jaw and had to be put down. The hamster cost six pounds, the vets bill was 6o…lol i could have bought ten more hamsters although obviously that’s not the point. R.I.P Bart.

18 June, 2017 at 9:09 pm #1054392Well sadly that hamster was a dwarf hamster and was later ripped apart (literally) by its brother, probably why it had been trying so hard to escape.
I am sorry for your loss – RIP little hammies

19 June, 2017 at 1:01 am #1054450I found that those boxes that one buys king size matches in is just perfect size for a Russian hamster coffin. I buried them as they died out in the fields.
19 June, 2017 at 1:04 am #1054452Yes…they dwarf hamsters can be very vicious as they don’t like sharing with other Russian dwarfs. If they start fighting it’s always best to remove one into another cage etc as they can really kill each other.
18 February, 2018 at 12:07 pm #1088096Id like to get another hamster.
How long can you leave one on its own anyone know?
18 February, 2018 at 1:06 pm #1088101You can’t…well you need to be there once a day to feed them etc. Apart from that they’ll be ok take em out once in a while and stroke em a bit when there already out or they’ll bite you for waking them up…LOL

18 February, 2018 at 1:27 pm #1088105Sairs has a big heart
So lovely stopped me falling apart
She brings smiles and joy to everyone
Calls me Donna and not Don
Sairs is so cuddly and so kind
When i met her we entwined
Sairs warned me of the chatters n natters
If nasty or silly block them as they are mad as hatters
When she types she starts to flatter
She’s my friend that’s all that matters
