the government have said today that we need even more immigrants to shore up the job market. i did a bit of googling and here are some interesting points.
a family of four who arrive in england to work. the father works full time as a food packer,
the mother works part time, as a shop assistant.
the two kids go to school. they earn between them £450.00 per week after tax and n.i.
the children go to school. cost £400.00 per week.
one child has a doctors appointment. £130.00
the parents claim family tax credit £130.00 per week.
they claim housing benefit. £65.00 per week.
now is it just me…or is that a net loss to us of over £500 per week. ok so if they never go to the doctor, for anything. that saves a bit. its still £500.00 per week to keep them here.
    next scenario.
6 young men arrive to work in the building trade. they all share a two bed terraced house.
they each earn £400.00 per week.

    gas,electric, food.rent, £100.00 each.
thats £600.00 a week into the coffers.
they keep £100.00 each for clothes nights out etc. £600.00 in the coffers.
thats £1,200 per week into the coffers in total.
they each send £200.00 back home to wherever. £1,200 a week.
net gain for the government. nothing, they send as much out of the country as they put into it.nd thats without any visits to the doctor or hospital, without buying cars and driving them with no lisence or insurance, as over 70percent do.

yep immigration is benefitting the country greatly.. not.
the only people who are winning here are those who own big businesses. the big builders, the big farms, and big food producers. and who do they employ as advisors, yep you guessed it. government ministers and m.ps.
collectiveley last year government advisors earned over £2 million. not bad for a part time job is it.

And of course without immigration all in the garden would be rosey, wouldnt it ?.

All the right labour, in the right demographic, with the right housing ect in the right places and with the right wages ?.

    Bollocks.

unions destroyed, social housing destroyed, wages slashed, the working class ghettoised and demonised.

    Not just in Britain, worldwide.

Globalisation is destroying the nation state worldwide and national economies just as Marx foretold 150 years ago.

No existing political party that I know of can turn that clock back.

Immigrants are just people doing the best they can to survive. Same with the millions of Brit emmigarants abroad.

The slogan ‘One race, the human race’ which I used to think trite becomes more appropriate every day.

Its the classes at the top who divide and rule worldwide who are the enemies of us all.

oh dear… I have asked before waspish. Where IS this place that folks earn all that money after tax,and are still liable for full working tax credits and rent rebates. I know tradesmen that dont earn that ! and they certainly dont come under the low enough earnings for tax credits.

you keep making generalised statement about how much folks earn and all the benefits they receive. there is no way folks on those earnings, would get full rent rebate etc.

Now let me get this straight

This virtual family is here, paying taxes (which is more than a British family on benefits does) and use facilities provided such as education and health which their taxes help support

Hmmm….if an immigrant worker can find work, dont you think some of the out of work lazy ar/ses down the job centre could?

And £450 Per Month after tax for a full time wage and a part time wage….what planet are you on, thats more like per week not per month ffs

she said per week Slayer .. I have never heard of a fruit packer and p/t worker earning this !

I actually don’t believe you are that niave to believe people on benefits don’t pay taxes. There is more stealth tax in this country than any other country on the planet. We all pay tax in one way or another.

and i wanna go ! 450 a week for fruit packing ,with full entitlements to other benefits

    fvk me its Valhalla !

The local food processing plant in Mrs Slayer’s home town (at which her sister works) pay £23k per year for 3x 12 hour night shifts pw

N guess what, cos they’re nights not many locals wanna work them but a lot of migrant workers will and do

N I must get my eyes tested cos I’m sure Wasp wrote “per month- too much late night ambivalence methinks”

    Loved reading that.

We all live in a liberal aboat, a liberal aboat, a liberal aboat. Its called the EU, and as waspish explained, we are making the poorer EU countries richer, because we all live in the same country, er, no, this is England, and were getting poorer.

Revolution to end this nightmare anyone?
