Greyhound Racing

I was Sceptical of this at first, investigations by animal rights groups are not usually very reliable. I did some very quick research and Animals Australia seems to be fairly unbiased politically, one of the acid tests I have is if they condem Halal slaughtering methods, which other orginisations endorse for political reasons, Animals Australia is against it.

Greyhounds are a magnificent animal and if you are looking for a rescue dog please consider this breed. Low maintenance, very loyal and loving and don’t require a 20 mile walk each day. Just remember though, they will (some) chase and try and kill small furry things, whether it be next doors moggie or the Mini Yorkshire Terrier in the park who struts about like it is a Rottie.
