Not remotely funny in my opinion Drac….and if you did that to my picture I would take great offence…whilst I don’t agree some of the threads are taken down….its Martins site…..I assume his personal views will overpower any decisions he takes regarding language etc here……though I was the first to point out to Somer the raghead comment and what it meant to me….I wasn’t offended as such I was more disappointed that such language and descriptions are still used…and I don’t want to single out Somer…but it refers to the thread you mention on this occasion….some of the childish language and accusations thrown around of late are so disappointing to be honest from a few posters
And yes I know….you put your picture up in the public domain…bblah blah blah..

Of course it’s Martin’s site, and he has the right as well as the power to stop any thread, or ban any person he wants to.
But we also contribute to his site, we engage with one another in terms of banter, abuse, ideas, and that means we form a relationship of a kind with one another.
The faith thread did contain abuse, and Martin has previously deleted abusive posts without deleting the thread.
The thread also contained thoughtful and interesting posts. An argument was forming, and beginning to develop. These posts were deleted along with the offensive posts.
Martin has left a lot of obscene abuse and pretty foul accusations on this board intact.

But if he has any respect for us, I think he ought to give a reason for deleting the whole thread.

I delete content that is against the site rules when I come across it, or when it is brought to my attention.
When you see obscene abuse and foul accusations, please use the ‘Report’ link that is on every single post. I am but one man; I cannot always read every single post made on the boards. Some help would be appreciated.

i know what you are saying scep,you dont have to delete the whole thread just what he deems offensive,
