I’ve been thinking regarding the year we’re leaving behind and all the emphasis on the coming New Year and it’s got me thinking…
The last couple of years havn’t been good for me, with illness loss of a loved ones etc

It isn’t the year that is good or bad…the year just is…it’s a numerical reminder of how what time we have is slipping by us.

Guess what I’m trying to say is our “year” on the whole is what we make of it. It has been and will be what we allow it to be.

Sure there are aspects of it that are out of our control, the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, accident and illness.

But most of it grows from our actions or inaction’s, the decisions we make, choices and paths we take. It’s not any part of life that is crap, but how we look at it and most importantly of all WHAT WE LEARN FROM IT.

2016, like all the years before it has (in Angela’s style) been a rollercoaster
Year. I expect no different from 2017.

But I would just like to wish all my friends, family, colleagues, exes and enemies a very happy new year! I hope you have all you can possibly wish for and certainly all you deserve.

Strange new year wish you might think?

Not really…my friends and family have supported me through thick and thin, my colleagues have made work a pleasure, but they have all (with my enemies and exes) shaped me into who I am today and while at times that journey has been tough, heartbreaking even I am grateful that it has led me to where I am today, but more importantly to who I’m with today. I’m  truly am grateful to all of you

My personal reflection is:
I’ve met some wonderful people, made  some new friends,
hung on to some very good friends……lost people I love…Helped some, loved many and hurt a few but it is what it is…despite it all
I wish you all the best for the coming year and i hope our friendship will survive the coming year xxxxx

I will also like to raise a glass to the people who I love, who are no longer with us…till we meet again, one day soon I’m sure…
