Hello everyone! My name is Charles and I am a student at the University of California, Davis in the United States. This is my first time using a chat room and I would appreciate some advice on what I should do (and if I could make some friends here, that would be awesome too!)
Hi Charles im new on here too so im afraid I cant give u any advice as im pretty clueless myself, but its nice to know that Im not the only one ?

The best thing to do is dive in! The chat rooms are a different animal to the message boards. Use whichever you prefer (or both).

this is a posting board. People post their message, opinion, it can be boring, or interesting, or angry – whatever people feel. Don’t expect an immediate reply – people pop in and out during the day.
The chat rooms are where you chat. Click on chat rooms above, there are three – f1, f2, f3. Experiemtn with them tos ee whihc one you like, or go to f2 to chat to drac lol
Be careful – there are malicious people around, though you get to know who they are – unless they use different names lol.
Draculian is not a malicious person, but she is right-wing lol

Thanks sceptical guy,I have now realised that i have to go on the forums to chat to people IF they actually chat to you that is!… ive just gone onto F1 thinking if see pple saying good morning or even a hello but its full of bitching so leftvand eent into F2 but theres no one around on there. As for F3 i couldnt get in there last night, not tried this morning yet but im not putting my hopes up. Im not sure if this is the place for me tbh ?

No, Drac. If you were malicious and right-wing (like the man you illegally voted for in the US elelction), then you would be pretty evil.
But you ain’t malicious (I don’t think) and while you’re right-wing you are ready for a serious discussion, which counts for a lot in my book.
